After spending a number of years in retail and sales fields, I realized whatever successes there were, I wasn't happy and was failing at life. In 2004 I met my future wife and soul-mate Janet, and began to learn what being happy in life truly is. She encouraged me to do work that was fulfilling, and that would allow me to feel good about what I do. Homeowners Helper© was conceived in January 2007 and I began taking project work doing small bathroom remodels, and filling the gap between what the homeowner can do and what most contractors don't want to do. I enjoy being able to use my hands to craft what my mind can see. Using home building experience and knowledge to create art is my way of finding happiness in what I do. -Michael |
